# initiateIgaApprovalByRequest

Initiate the IGA approval for a service request.

Initiate the policy-defined approval for the IGA access request linked to a service request
(SER). Resolves the linked service-item-instance from the request id and starts the
entitlement policy's approval lifecycle (approvers resolved from the policy).
