# Switch To The New Monitoring Details Experience

# Switch to the new Monitoring Details experience

The new Monitoring Details experience gives you a clearer view of what each check monitors and helps you identify and resolve pending work faster.

Instead of navigating to a separate **View and fix** experience, you can view monitored entities, identify failing items, and take the required actions directly from the check details page. The revamped experience also separates entity-level information from check configuration, making it easier to understand and manage your checks.

You can opt into the new experience from the **Monitoring** page and switch back to the old experience if required.

### Features and advantages

The new Monitoring Details experience introduces the following improvements:

* **Identify issues faster:** Failing entities are surfaced prominently, helping you quickly identify items that require attention.
* **Fix issues from the details page:** Relevant actions are available against failing entities, so you can take action without opening a separate **View and fix** drawer.
* **Simplified check details:** The **Entities** tab provides a consolidated view of monitored entities, including their status, due date, assignee, and available actions.
* **Dedicated configuration view:** The **Configuration** tab contains information about how the check works and its advanced configuration settings.
* **Resolve role-assignment issues:** For failing role-assignment checks, use **Fix issue** to assign the role to the appropriate person.
* **Share feedback:** You can provide feedback about the new experience directly from the Monitoring Details page.
* **Switch between experiences:** You can return to the old Monitoring Details experience at any time.

### Switch to the new Monitoring Details experience

To opt into the new experience:

1. Log in to the **Sprinto dashboard**.
2. Navigate to **Monitoring**.
3. Locate the **Switch to the new monitoring details experience** banner at the top of the page.
4. Click **See what's new**.

5. The **Switch to the new monitoring details experience** window opens. You can watch the video to learn about the changes and how the revamped experience works.
6. Click **Switch to new experience**.

You are now opted into the new Monitoring Details experience.

To explore the revamped view, select an automated check from the **Monitoring** page. The **Monitor details** page displays the monitored entities and their current status.

Use the **Entities** tab to review monitored items and take action on issues. Select **Configuration** to understand how the check works and manage its configuration.

#### Share feedback

You can share feedback about the new experience at any time.

1. From the **Monitor details** page, select a monitor click **Give feedback**.

2. Select whether you want to:
   * Share a positive experience.
   * Report an issue.
   * Suggest an improvement.
3. Enter your comments.
4. If required, upload supporting screenshots.
5. Click **Submit**.

#### Switch back to the old experience

If you want to return to the previous Monitoring Details experience:

1. Click **Switch to old experience** from the top-right corner of the **Monitor details** page.

2. Enter your feedback about why you are switching back and upload supporting screenshots, if required.
3. Click **Submit** to share your feedback and continue.

You can also click **Skip** if you do not want to provide feedback.

### What's next?

After switching to the new Monitoring Details experience, open your automated checks to review their monitored entities and identify items that require attention. Use the available actions to resolve failing items, or open the **Configuration** tab to review and manage the check's settings.
