# Activity Log

The **Activity log** in Sprinto provides a chronological record of all actions performed by users and integrations in your account. It enables administrators to review changes, attribute actions to specific users or integrations, and maintain a transparent audit trail for compliance.

The log is divided into two tabs:

* **User activity log** – Displays activities performed directly by Sprinto users, such as updating policies, modifying risk details, or managing staff records.
* **Integration API log** – Displays activities triggered by connected integrations through API requests.

***

### How it Works

1. **User activities** – Every action performed by a Sprinto user is logged with details including the action description, the user’s name, and the timestamp.
2. **Integration activities** – API-driven updates from integrated tools appear in the Integration API log, showing the provider name and type of event triggered.
3. **Search and filters** – Narrow down log results by:
   * **User/Provider** – Select a specific user or integration.
   * **Activity type** – Filter by category of action.
   * **Date range** – Focus on a specific timeframe.
4. **Switching tabs** – Toggle between the **User activity log** and **Integration API log** to view the relevant set of records.
